Britain has teams competing in seventeen Paralympic competition universe championships this year.

The aim is piece of Mission 2012, UK Sport"s tracking complement opposite all areas of high performance. As the principal appropriation physique for sport, it wants to see certain swell being done as London 2012 approaches.

Elsewhere, Canadian Jeff Adams, the three times Paralympic bullion medallist in wheelchair racing, says Great Britain "is the cradle of the Paralympic transformation that has the majority modernized levels of formation ever seen" opposite Olympic and Paralympic teams. His comments came after participating in a coaching convention at UK Athletics. Adams, who teamed up Peter Eriksson, head manager of Paralympic athletes at the seminar, pronounced "Britain is years forward of alternative countries.""
