Thirty years ago, Andrei Simoniovich Filipov, the eminent transmitter of the Bolshoi orchestra, was dismissed for employing Jewish musicians. Now a small cleaning man at the Bolshoi, he learns by collision that the Châtelet Theater in Paris invites the Bolshoi band to fool around there.
He decides to accumulate together his former musicians and to perform in Paris in the place of the stream Bolshoi orchestra. As a piece for one person violin player to attend with his old Jewish or Gypsy musicians he wants Anne-Marie Jacquet (M�lanie Laurent, Inglourious Basterds), a immature virtuoso.
