A one-year-old child who was strike by a descending lamp-post in west London on Tuesday has died today.
The baby, whose name has not been released, was struck when the lamp-post fell in Chiswick.
A 62-year-old woman, who suffered a behind damage in the accident, was taken to hospital. She was liberated yesterday.
The child was airlifted to the Royal London hospital, in easterly London. He was conspicuous passed at about 5.30am.
"A baby child severely harmed by a descending lamp-post in Chiswick has sadly died," a Scotland Yard orator said.
"A postmortem hearing will be scheduled in due course."
The woman, who was treated with colour at Charing Cross hospital, in west London, was not associated to the baby and was not pulling his cart when the lamp-post fell.
A military orator pronounced the baby was with a carer, who was not injured.
The incident, that happened at the connection of Heathfield Terrace and Sutton Court Road, is being investigated by officers from Hounslow CID and the dilettante crime directorate, along with the Health and Safety Executive.
A Hounslow legislature mouthpiece pronounced the situation was "an horrible tragedy" and the legislature was co-operating entirely with the investigations.
She pronounced work was being carried out in the area as piece of the Turnham Green trade and ride alleviation scheme, written to yield faster journeys for train passengers.
